Zambian Gospel artiste, Esther Chungu has released a brand new single titled “Chikangabwe”. Esther shared the inspiration behind the song saying; “About 3 years ago, I got the opportunity to visit Chengelo Trust school In Lusaka, Zambia. I got to hold a one day music workshop in partnership with the school administration and Pastor Mangaliso of Mount Zion Church Zambia.
At the end of my class, I asked for my students for the day to do a practical and create a song with me from scratch. My students and I come up with our project and we immediately fell in love with it. I then assured them that I would add it to my next album. But I fell so I love with it I could not wait for the album release I had to release it as a single first”. The name of the student group featured on the track is ‘412’ derived from the scripture 1 Timothy 4:12 which says “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” Download the melody below and enjoy your moment with the Lord.
