Gospel music minister and songwriter, Funmi Abioye offers up a brand new song titled “Faa Nu Tumisile.” The Yoruba [a language widely spoken in the southwestern region of Nigeria] titled song simply means “Release Me By Mercy” in verbatim translation to the English language.
Speaking about the song, Funmi shares that the song is inspired by Luke 19:30-31 “saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: lose him, and bring him hither. And if any man ask you, Why do ye lose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.”
In her admonition she says, “Because if the Lord can loose that colts tied down. He is able to lose you and deliver you from whatever that have tied you down including your children. This song has personally ministered to me and I’m sure it will minister to you too as you listen to it.” – She concludes
